It’s been over a year since Melody has been part of our family and she is only now getting in the habit of sleeping a full 12 hours. When JP was a baby, he began sleeping full nights at 7 months so this time around I never realized just how lucky I was with the whole sleeping through the night thing until Melody came along.

I’ve started using Huggies OverNites Diapers when I put her down for the night. On the outside, these night time diapers are just like regular daytime ones (except for a sleeping pooh-bear). They help keep baby dry for 12 hours

As of lately, I’ve been getting more nights of undisturbed sleep because she’s been sleeping longer. While this is great, I still have to be careful because much like her dad she is an an extremely light sleeper and will wake up if you don’t tip-toe past her room!

Plus I love the snug fit of these Huggies OverNites Diapers!

Fortunately for me this has been slowly becoming routine and I believe a huge part of it revolves around whether or not she feels wet (or dirty). Who wants to sleep with a lumpy, cold pair of disposable pants strapped on you?  It’s no wonder my baby cries the way she does when it’s time for a diaper change!

When it comes to diaper care, I try to give my girl the very best – after all, baby girls are a whole lot more high maintenance in the diaper region than boys! This is why I”m also choosy about which wipes to use. Huggies Natural Care Wipes make the most sense because they are 99% made from water – that’s huge when they’re being used on sensitive parts. What makes them so great is how the Triple Clean Layers are gentle on baby’s skin, yet thick enough to clean the worst diaper blowouts with ease.

These big refill packs have always been my favorite because I have a few plastic dispensers. One on the changing table, one in the bathroom and one on the kitchen table. Baby wipes make great cleanup on sticky hands and dirty mouths (even for older kids).

So here’s a quick 3-step tutorial on how to get a good night’s sleep!

Step 1: Bathtime. A nice warm bath always preps baby for sleep.

Step 2: Once I dry her bottom off, I put her in a fresh pair of Huggies OverNites Diapers.

Step 3: After a bath, a fresh diaper & pajamas she’s ready to rock her way to la-la land. Sweet dreams Melody!
